Elon Musk is always a guarantee for very special performances. In California, after his last week’s Megafactory coup in Berlin, he was now strictly following Murphy’s law that goes wrong what can go wrong. Namely at the unveiling of Tesla’s newest litter, Cybertruck.
But a demonstration of the unbreakable metal glass windows backfired when a metal ball thrown at the windows did break it.
Tesla boss Elon Musk had not exaggerated when he announced in advance a very unusual design for the new signing, as the portal Insideevs reports. The extremely edged, in the side view like a triangle shaped pick-up is definitely not to everyone’s taste. But apart from that again a real Tesla. Three performance versions with a range of up to 800 kilometers should be available, the fastest manages to reach just under 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds, according to Tesla. On a video rehearsed during the presentation, even a Porsche 911 lost out in the sprint.

Here, the Cybertruck, whose cheapest version is to start at around 36,000 euros and which will be available with one, two and three electric motors with rear and four-wheel drive, good load 1.5 tons and in the strongest variant allegedly more than six Tons on the hook. The cargo area is just under two meters long – it fits neatly on it.
In Europe, interested parties can order the Cybertruck already, then a reservation fee of a modest 100 euros is due. The series startup is only scheduled for the end of 2021.
